On Google platforms, the identified electoral competitors sponsored<\/span><b> 2,046 advertisements, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">but there is a complete lack of data on budgets, duration of broadcast, and audiences, making it difficult to estimate the real impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The leaders in advertising spending on META platforms during the monitored period were:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Partidul Ac\u021biune \u0219i Solidaritate (Action and Solidarity Party, PAS)<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 \u20ac93,386 for 826 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Blocul Alternativa (Alternative Bloc)<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 \u20ac33,346 for 639 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Andrei N\u0103stase<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 \u20ac28,394 for 230 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Gabriel C\u0103lin<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 \u20ac20,693 for 40 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Partidul Nostru (Our Party)<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 \u20ac15,265 for 118 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Partidul Na\u021bional Moldovenesc (Moldovan National Party)<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 \u20ac10,726 for 288 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we take the average per sponsorship, C\u0103lin spent approximately <\/span><b>\u20ac517 per advertisement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while the average for PAS is <\/span><b>\u20ac113 per advertisement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, for the Alternative Bloc <\/span><b>\u20ac52.18 per advertisement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and for Our Party <\/span><b>\u20ac129.28 per advertisement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. PAS&#8217;s expenses represent about<\/span><b> 40% of the total amounts declared.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Google platforms, the leaders in terms of the number of ads set between August 31 and September 29 were:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Partidul Ac\u021biune \u0219i Solidaritate (Action and Solidarity Party, PAS)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 651 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Partidul Nostru (Our Party)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 500 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Olesea Stamate <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 300 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Blocul Electoral Patriotic (Patriotic Electoral Bloc)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 200 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Blocul Alternativa (Alternative Bloc)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 200 ads<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other formations, such as<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Democra\u021bia Acas\u0103 (Democracy at Home), AUR (Alliance for the Union of Romanians), Moldova Mare (Greater Moldova), the Partidul Liberal (Liberal Party),<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or Tatiana Cre\u021bu, do not appear in the<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Meta Ad Library<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Ads<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transparency <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reports, having no sponsored advertisements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The study analyzed only pages affiliated with political competitors, excluding anonymous pages used for disinformation, as no candidate publicly claimed them.
