In particular, the degree of acceptance of various conspiracy theories, fake news, propaganda narratives in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the election campaign was measured. In addition, voters&#8217; political preferences and attitudes towards the upcoming presidential election were measured as well.<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Sample size: <\/strong>1001 people aged 18\r\nand above;<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Sample:<\/strong> stratified,\r\nprobabilistic, bistadial;<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Stratification\r\ncriteria: <\/strong>13 geographical regions that coincide with the former counties, prior to\r\nthe administrative reform; urban and rural residential environment; 2 sizes of\r\nurban areas; 3 types of rural locations based on population number.<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Data collection\r\nperiod:<\/strong>&nbsp; 10-17 October 2020. The interviews were\r\nconducted by telephone. <\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Reprezentativeness:<\/strong> the sample is representative of the Moldovan adult population, with a maximum error margin of +3.1%<\/li><\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u00a0The PowerPoint presentation can be accessed   <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.watchdog.md\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/SURVEY-OCTOBER-2020_EN.pdf\">\u00a0HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>The sociological survey is carried out upon the request of &#8220;WatchDog.MD&#8221; Community, as part of the <\/em><strong><em>\u201dCountering propaganda and fostering public resilience against foreign and domestic disinformation&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><em> project, implemented with the support of the United States Embassy in the Republic of Moldova.
